I dont know, i’ve never taken valium or been much of a clubber. Most/all drugs do more than one thing. I guess anything that removes anxiety and make you feel nice would help loosen inhibitions(make dancing and social interaction easier), sort of the same reason that people drink alcohol.

It’s a benzo like xanax kolanapins, ativan and all those drugs. It’s a really weak for of a benzo so if given a choice got for the xanax since they are stronger and better. Lots of dr’s are hesitant to write scripts for the benzo’s since they are short term solutions and habbit forming. They usually might start you off on an anti depressant or mood stabilizer but then take you off the benzo once the other long term meds are working. they’re afraid of them becoming habit forming or selling them
sorry but diazepam/valium is a depressant, benzodiazepines are sedatives i.e. depressants, prozac is an example of an antidepressant.
