Actually, Craig David was the original singer of “Insomnia”. David found Wheesung and asked him to do a cover of the song.
Translations from different languages, especially when they are using flowery language, is highly variable. Looking at the jist of it, it seems like choi911 tried to do a more direct (ie almost word for word) translation while rightsideupsmile was more artistic about it. Personally, I like this version better because it actually captures the meaning of Wheesung’s lyrics. :D Hope this helps!
