I was thinking about michael jackson just now, and apparently he was using diprivan to help him sleep at night. i also know that diprivan is not supposed to be used in a house- it's only supposed to be used in hospitals. But is it REALLY possible to have insomnia SO sever that the victim has to turn to a dangerous drug to help them sleep?
sorry, i spelled "severe" wrong.

I’ve known a lot of insomniacs, but I’ve never heard of using an anesthetic to knock you out. Vets use propofol to render pets unconscious prior to fully sedating them. MJ wasn’t jusst desperate; he had people falling all over themselves to please him and make money off of him. If he hadn’t been him, this never would have happened.
no one has ever died from not sleeping but plenty of people have died from drugs that they use for sleep
insomnia can be very bad,i have had it for years , but you need to see your family doctor, he will give you something to help you sleep. remember a lot of sleeping pills are habit forming so if he gives you one of them it will only be for a short period of time.let him know what other meds. you are taking . have you tried taking otc medication like tylenol pm or even allergy medication?
The DR who injected him with profanol had also *allegedly* tried other drugs, including valium beforehand.
Personally I think its BS! If zopiclone or ambien didn’t work they could’ve used seroquel (quetiapine) that works on the most stubborn cases of insomnia!
There are reasons that anaesthetics are not allowed to be used outside an ER – this sadly illustrates it. No one has insomnia that bad!
Its also worth noting that the quality of sleep would have been awful from an anaesthetic – quality is more important than quantity when it comes to sleep!
It is a logical thing that if you cannot get proper rest then you cannot give your best in whatever you do even a machine needs to be shut down after some time to avoid it from getting damaged.
I think people try their level best to get the sleep without resorting to chemicals but when they fail to do so they start with mild medication but After some time your body gets use to that medication and the person opts for a higher dosage of same or other medicine and the cycle goes on till the person is laid to sleep forever.
People don’t realize that chemical adulteration is not going to solve their problem. They should look at natural cures as far as possible.
