How long do you recommend a nap should be after 3 hours of sleep, without causing insomnia later at night?

I got 3 hours of sleep last night. I feel awake right now but I'm sure I will be dead tired in less than a couple hours. Should I force myself to stay awake (if I can) or nap? How long do should I nap for? 10,15,30, or 60 minutes? I want to go to bed 8 hours from now. I'm not addicted to caffeine. Tips please. Thanks a lot.
